What’s new pussycat?
This week we are looking at keeping things (and yourself) clean and tidy, so let’s have a wee look at what I’ve spotted on the ADHD websites, You Tube channels and podcasts.

If you struggle with keeping your personal hygiene consistent you are not alone. Many people with ADHD don’t like the sensory issues that go hand in hand with brushing your teeth or taking a shower (it’s too cold coming out, it’s boring, it’s a transition that you find difficult etc) and this quick read from Attitude magazine has some great pointers to help you out.
Watch
Clutterbug is a Youtube channel which focuses on cleaning and tidying up and bonus, the host of the channel also has ADHD! She has a few video’s specifically about ADHD and while you might not need all the hacks that she has on her channel, you can pick out one or two to try and see if they help you in your home.
Listen
And if you want to go a bit deeper or need some extra info, check out K.C. Davis and her podcast Struggle Care. K.C. is a therapist and also has ADHD, she interviews doctors and other people about ADHD issues as well as giving her own tips about taking care of yourself.
What I love about her is the fact that she pushes shame out the window and helps you to what you need to do without adding guilt into the mix. I follow her on Instagram, where she shares some fantastic tips.
Hope these help you make life easier this week, if you are enjoying them, make sure you subscribe and give yourself one less thing to remember each week!
